Tried a new restaurant yesterday at The Curve, named Thai Express. The decor is very modern looking and some how also give you a fastfood restaurant feeling. We ordered a shrimp paste (belacan) fried rice, a seafood tomyam soup and a chicken tomyam glass noodle soup. As for drink, we initially ordered green tea and lemongrass tea, unfortunately the lemongrass tea is not available, so we op for house tea.
The verdict: Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, the waiters and waitresses were attentive and prompt. There are a lot of choices of food on the menu.. and quite a long list of desserts too. However the food is served at a slower interval than i would expect from a restaurant with the word 'express' in their name. The food is quite nice but not authentic enough. Total cost of the food is around RM60. Will i go back? I am not sure.. probably not.

KWSP, Choc chip almond cookies, CNY, in laws.. etc etc
Hee.. the same old me who got lazy to create new blog.. same old excuse .. too busy.
But anyway, just another short entry from me...
1) KWSP: went there yesterday and gosh.. superbly crowded.. but impressively the staffs are very efficient and friendly. Good improvement!
2) Choc chip almond cookies: I must have baked around 300 to 400 cookies on Sunday! These are for colleagues, friends, sis and Alan. They are really addictive.. but because of eating too much freshly baked cookies, now i am suffering from severe sore throat!
3) CNY: TOO HECTIC.. TOO BUSY.. and i will be more prepared next year ^_- Overall.. it is fun!
4) In Laws: Love to spend time with them, but also glad to see them leaving for KK. HA HA HA...
5) etc etc: Well.. back to work today. Thought that i can have a relaxing day to do planning, facebooking, reading and just settle back into work. But.. well.. have lots of tasks to complete today.. especially in preparation for the BIG meeting tomorrow! Wish me luck!
