
This is the 3rd time I baked this cake. The first two times although it went alright but the cake itself has a big problem. I followed this recipe from a cookbook to the dot on how to bake the cake but the cake itself came out having big holes inside! Humph!!!! After the first time I thought I have done it wrongly but the same results were obtained the second time. Hence for the 3rd time, I changed the cake recipe. I tried this recipe from another book which was suppose for "Death by chocolate cake" recipe... ha.. see my trend here about dying and chocolate???

Anyway... I am particularly impressed because this cake uses oil instead of butter. I am always a bit suspicious of any cake uses oil.. mainly just because that it is not familiar ground to me. But.. it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really impressed by myself. Well, the verdict? It is finger licking good. I am happy now... another success baking!

Wow!!! Cake looks great, just like the ones in the cook book. Be warned, you won't be able to get as much fresh berries back in Malaysia later for your baking. Or at least not as cheap as in UK.
